Office / Signing

Electronic signing and NOM-151 preservation.

These are different layers. A signature can document acceptance; a NOM-151 certificate supplies technical evidence that a preserved document existed at a given time and has not changed since.

How it works

Your document stays under your control.

1. Digital fingerprint

A SHA-256 digest is calculated from the final document. The standard provides for the accredited certification provider to receive that digest, rather than the full document.

2. Time and integrity

An accredited provider returns a certificate with RFC 3161 time stamps. Change even one letter in the preserved file and its digest no longer matches, so verification fails.

3. Exact scope

The certificate supports preservation, integrity and a time reference. Alone, it does not identify a signer or establish their consent; signature evidence serves that purpose.

4. Standard signing

Standard electronic signing is included at no extra cost in an AventarIA subscription. A NOM-151 certificate is an optional addition when you need further evidence of preservation.

NOM-151 option

MX$150 per certificate.

This is the planned price per document. Issuance is not enabled in the demo yet: it requires a connection to an accredited provider. You can check availability before relying on it.
